PDF security

Encrypt PDFs with AES-256: an opening password and permissions that block printing, copying and changes.

pdfSecurity encrypts the PDF with AES-256 (PDF 2.0 standard security). With a user password the file asks for it when opened; permissions limit printing, copying and changes in PDF readers. A random owner password is used when you give none.

    permissions: { print: true, copy: false, modify: false },
  },
});
